A group of cricket lovers in the Washington DC Metro Area formed the Damascus Cricket Club (DCC). Damascus CC is part of the Washington Metropolitan Area Cricket Board (WMCB) and is one of the 20 clubs playing competitive cricket in the area. The club is a combination of youth and experience where the emphasis is on enjoying while remaining fiercely competitive. We in the Damascus CC, take our cricket seriously and expect new members to do the same. We have had a fairly successful run in the league since our inception. We were the Main League Champions in 2003.
