UMBC won its sixth match against Hunters by crushing 8 wickets. Digant Samant and Samuel Lalzare showed why they are top 5 batsmen in the WCL as both of them scored half centuries! Great bowling by all the bowlers, specially debutant Vishal, who took 2 wickets and scored 34 runs.

This year, American College Cricket and BIG League USA will provide cricket fans in the USA and Canada with something they don't get much of - opportunities to view cricket action free, all over the country as an audience is built for the domestic game.

UMBC Cricket Club was presented with the 2010 WMCB T20 Championship Trophy on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the annual awards ceremony/dinner held by WMCB. UMBC won that championship back in October by defeating Mavericks Cricket Club in the final.

WCC won the toss and elected to bat first. Faisel and Suchit bowled an excellent opening spell restricting them to 25 runs in first 10 overs with Suchit cleaning up the opening batsman with a beautiful in-swinger. Next 10 overs belonged to WCC who upped their scoring rate accumulating 61 runs taking the tally to 86 at the end of 20 overs. UMBC made comeback with the introduction of Sanatan who put the lid on the scoring rate and chipping away with wickets at regular intervals. Sanatan ended up with career best figures of 5 wickets.
