Due to the heat advisory in effect for this weekend (July 23 & 24) in our area, the WCL excecutive committee has decided to play this weekend games with following changes.
1. All games to be played on July 23 & 24 are reduced to a maximum of 30 overs per side. There is no change to the starting time.
2. All umpires are advised to take 2 water breaks (10 min each) per inning at 10 and 20 overs.
3. The innings break for the first team will be at 2:35pm (this includes two 10 minute water breaks) provided they bowl their overs on time without any other interruption. (30 x 4.5 + 20 minutes in breaks=155 minutes to finish an inning)
4. The innings break will be 20 minutes.
5. The inning for the second batting team will commenced at 2:55pm provided the first team finishes their inning on time.
6. 6 overs max per bowler.
7. Powerplays for 30 over game as follows. 6 (Mandatory) 3 (Batting) 3 (Bowling)
8. All teams are required to get plenty of water, refreshments.
