Summary:

UMBC won the toss by default as the MCC team wasnt on the field on time and decided to field first. MCC was playing with only 9 players.

MCC started off really well with their openers Sounak and Divyang scoring 33 and 24 respectively gave their team the early momentum. It needed Austin's line and length to get the edge caught by the keeper. This was the first and last wicket that was to be out caught as rest all the 7 wickets were bowled by the UMBC bowlers. Sumeet claimed 3, Austin 2, Anand 1 and Sadiq who ended up with the best figures of all with 3 overs 15 runs and 2 wickets. MCC failed to capitalize on the good start given by their openers and ended up with 128 on a good pitch and very uneven outfield making it nightmare for the fielding team.

UMBC openers Sumeet and Sadiq started off well before Sumeet was caught in the deep for 19. In came Anand and the familiar pair of Anand and Sadiq who had won the game for UMBC day before against Crescent came to the crease and they didnt let the team down this time around either as their partnership thrashed the MCC bowlers for 85 runs in just 6 overs which made the target looked rather small. Sadiq again remained unbeaten on 55 scoring his first 50 for UMBC and ending the weekend at a high for him as well UMBC as UMBC chased down the score in 12.4 overs to complete their 3rd win of the BOD tournament.
