UMBC won the toss and elected to bat first. Eraj gave a quick start to get the total to 23 in first 3 overs.

Anand was promoted to one down and he played a good innings of 20 to get the partnership going with eraj first and then with Ranga. But the real star of the game was Gurnish with his aggressive 54 who batted wonderfully with the tail to get UMBC total to a defendable 138.

Washington Cricket Club never had a big partnership while chasing and kept losing wickets at regular intervals but their innings was held together by Manish who made a solid 24. Extras were by far the top scorer for WCC which included 44 wides combined from all 5 UMBC bowlers. Gurnish was the most economial bowler once again with 17 runs for one wicket from his 8 overs. Eraj and Ranga both finished with 3 wickets each.
